**Job Title: Assembler I & II - 1st Shift** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as an Assembler I or II on the 1st shift, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing medical devices. These positions are contract-to-hire, with the possibility of a longer transition to permanent employment. Candidates should be flexible with their schedules, including early start times and occasional Saturdays. **Responsibilities** + Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. + Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System. + Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer/Supervisor. + Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed. + Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience using a microscope for assembly. + Proficiency in small part assembly. + Strong communication skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency with measuring tools, hand tools, and assembly equipment. + Experience working in a cleanroom environment. + Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly. + Minimum 6 months of high-volume small part assembly with a microscope. + Ability to work with a microscope 90% of the shift. + High school diploma or equivalent. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers great benefits once permanent, is experiencing growth, and fosters a positive work environment and culture. Enjoy catered lunch once a week as part of our team. **Work Environment** The position requires working in a cleanroom environment 100% of the time, with close workstation proximity. The shift hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with flexibility to start as early as 5:00 am and work until 3:30 pm, including Saturdays as needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
