Summary Early Steps Bilingual Preschool in Arlington is seeking a
bilingual- Spanish/English Preschool Assistant

If you have your degree, Associate in Early Education or Child Development Associate (CDA) and you are bilingual (Spanish/English) please reply with your resume. Duties *Ability to assist Lead Teachers with their lesson plans and educational activities as well as classroom decor
*Ability to organize and clean classroom and classroom bathroom as well as school school property
*Ability to provide active supervision at all times working with young children 2-6 years old
*Must be a dependable team player with transportation, a person who can think quickly and is a problem-solver
*Ability to follow school policies and safety procedures
*Must be able to physically and safely
lift up to 45 pounds
*Must be able to pass a criminal background check, a Child Protective Services background check, a tuberculosis test, and health screening
*Obtain CPR/First Aid certification (for infants, children, and adults) if not currently certified
*Assistants must be able to adapt to the companies needs
Requirements Requirements:
*Must have COVID-19 vaccinations & boosters
*Basic knowledge of Early Childhood Education or related field of study
*Fluent in Spanish and conversational English
*Prior preschool classroom experience is a plus but not required
*Demonstrated ability to work among groups of young children and great teachers
*Must have ability to work in the U.S. with documentation

Virginia Pre-Service Training (10 hour certificate)
Virginia Health & Safety Annual Update Training
