MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Graduate of Nursing Program, BSN / BA required.
2. Position requires a Master's of Science in Nursing and/or related field or expected date for completion of program of study. Will be referred to as a Clinical Specialist until Master's degree completion.
3. Current West Virginia State license as a registered nurse required.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Progressive clinical and/or managerial experience in area of specialty hired.

1. Supports the Plan for Patient Care and facilitates the delivery of nursing care via the Collaborative Practice Model.
2. Demonstrates knowledge of Area's of Service Line and assures the provision of area of specialty nursing care in accordance with
specialty, regulatory and CCMC practice standards.
3. Assists with the development of area / program strategic plans reflective of corporate goals to facilitate effective progress.
4. In conjunction with Service Line Department Head, identifies department / program Performance Management Plan processes with staff participation to identify patient care issues / problems and to develop action plans to resolve problems, improve outcomes and exceed customer expectations.
5. In conjunction with Service Line Department Head, trains staff to provide competent care through development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of department/program competencies based orientation, education and evaluation programs.

6. Ability to organize and prioritize time and tasks to achieve a well-coordinated work effort and to effectively meet work schedules, including an ability to integrate multiple factors which may have an impact on patient care, including variance in human resources.
