About the Role:
You’ll work directly with the Development Director and get hands-on experience across multiple areas, including social media, email marketing, event planning, and community engagement. This is a perfect opportunity to sharpen your skills, grow your portfolio, and be part of something meaningful.
What You’ll Do:
Create and schedule engaging content for Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram)
Design and send email campaigns via Constant Contact (newsletters, invites, fundraising updates)
Assist with basic graphic design and storytelling using tools like Canva
Support the planning and execution of development events, such as fundraisers and community gatherings
Collaborate with the Development Director to implement strategies that enhance community engagement and donor relations
Capture and organize photos, videos, and student/teacher stories for digital platforms
Track engagement metrics and suggest content improvements
Who You Are:
Mission-driven with a heart for equitable education for all scholars
Team player who thrives in creative and collaborative spaces
Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related program
Familiar with Meta Business Suite and Constant Contact (moderate skill level preferred)
Strong writer and visual storyteller with an eye for compelling content
Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently
Samples of previous social media work or a portfolio (if available).
Bonus: experience with Canva, video editing, or photography

Compensation and Benefits:
10–15 hours/week | $12–$15/hour based on experience
