**2nd Shift Mechanical Assembler**
**Pay:** $25/hr-$26/hr depending on experience
**Shift:** M-F 2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm // OT as needed
**Job Description**
Join a leading manufacturer of military and defense products, specializing in components ranging from filters to rocket control modules. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met, contributing to a growing team in response to increased demand.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform the assembly of intricate mechanical components and subassemblies.
+ Utilize both hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and rivet guns, with proficiency.
+ Ensure the accuracy of parts and materials before and during assembly, focusing on continuous improvement.
+ Interpret blueprints and drawings to effectively guide assembly processes.
+ Document all assembly and inspection activities meticulously.
+ Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines, actively engage in safety training, and promote a culture of safety awareness.
+ Maintain precise records of assembly procedures and materials utilized.
+ Communicate effectively to provide updates and address any issues concerning assembly tasks.
+ Uphold the proper maintenance and care of assembly tools and equipment.
+ Propose and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency and uphold quality standards.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum 3 years of mechanical assembly experience.
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools, such as drills, rivet guns, screwdrivers, and wrenches.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Excellent eye-hand coordination and dexterity for assembling small parts.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
+ Knowledge of both mechanical and basic electromechanical assembly.
+ Experience with assembly line processes, electrical assembly, soldering, cable harnesses.
**Work Environment**
Work in a clean production facility. Steel-toed boots are required for safety.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
