Job Description

Phoenix Processor, headquartered in Seattle, manages an at-sea fish processing vessel that operates in Alaksa and off the West coast. Established in 1988, we have a reputation as a great place to work and for producing top quality fish products sold in the domestic and international markets.

We are currently searching for a team oriented, energetic, organized, and efficient Recruiter to join our Human Resources Department.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with candidates efficiently through the application and interview process to create a great candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees into the organization.
• Use social networks, advertising, websites, etc. to increase recruiting and company awareness.
• Assist HR team with other related tasks

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year HR or Customer Support experience.
• Experience and knowledge of commercial fishing not required, but helpful.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, and deal with variables in situations where timely hiring is crucial to vessel operations.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Smartsheets
