Job Description

Salary: $120,000 - 160,000 per year Requirements:

• I am looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline. You should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly focusing on application security. A solid understanding of security frameworks and standards such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO is essential. Familiarity with security tools and technologies like Snyk, Coverity, and Burp Suite is required. You should also be knowledgeable in various application security testing methods, including SCA, SAST, and DAST. Additionally, I expect you to exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will be working effectively with cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH will be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, I want you to lead the deployment of a new application security tool, ensuring it aligns with our organization's security requirements. Collaborating with development teams to seamlessly incorporate the new security tool into their workflows will be necessary. You will also be responsible for establishing and enforcing governance policies and best practices for application security. Conducting security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and manage risks is crucial. I expect you to provide training and support to development teams regarding the use of the new security tool and application security best practices. Additionally, monitoring and responding to security incidents with expert analysis and remediation will be part of your duties. Staying informed about the latest security threats, trends, and technologies is essential to maintain our organization's robust security posture. You will work closely with other departments, including IT, legal, and compliance, to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
