Solar Energy Project Manager Job Summary:
Reporting to the Renewable Solutions Group Manager, this position will support the development of solar projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Solar Energy Project Manager Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the development of public, educational, commercial, industrial, and other types of solar projects
• Responsible for due diligence activities including site origination, site control, project permitting, utility interconnection
• Development of long-term relationships with site owners, energy users and other project stakeholders
• Effective communication with project stakeholders and community members to facilitate project permitting and other initiatives
• Active management of development schedule and budget to ensure timely and cost-effective projects
• Fostering support from state, county and local governments, community groups, and abutters
• Support of internal finance, engineering, and construction teams to facilitate successful project financing and construction
• Participates in long-term strategic planning and project execution plans.
• Development of sales presentations, proposals, and other materials as needed to support project development efforts
• Other duties as assigned

Solar Energy Project Manager education, experience, technical skills & attributes required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working in the energy industry
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Helioscope

Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Position is full-time Monday – Friday and is not a remote work position.
