Looking to pair your leadership skills with your knowledge of accounts receivable? This AR Supervisor position, based in Oceanside, is a fantastic opportunity to join an organization making a meaningful impact. Our nonprofit client is searching for an experienced supervisor to lead their talented AR team while overseeing critical receivables processes.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Supervise and mentor the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and training as needed.
+ Oversee all aspects of AR operations, including billing, collections, and cash applications.
+ Ensure timely, accurate recording of receivable transactions in compliance with company policies.
+ Collaborate with other departments to develop streamlined processes and improve financial workflows.
+ Prepare monthly AR reports, including aging reports, reconciliations, and updates for management.
+ Support audit preparation and ensure that donor and customer accounts comply with nonprofit standards.
Requirements
+ 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory position.
+ Proven ability to lead, mentor, and build a collaborative team environment.
+ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar); strong Excel skills required.
+ Familiarity with nonprofit accounting practices and grant management is highly preferred.
+ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a customer service mindset.
